Dog breeds: Rat Terrier

The Rat Terrier originated in the U.K., but it was developed in
the United States. It belongs to the Terrier group and it was originally
designed as a vermin killer. This breed was even used in the White
House to control pests by President Theodore Roosevelt. This little
dog stands between 12 and 15 inches tall and weighs between 12 and
18 pounds.
