The
Standard Poodle is the largest of the Poodle breeds. It stands between
22 and 27 inches tall and typically weighs between 45 and 70 pounds.
They are a lively dog that can be used for hunting or as a family
pet. If cared for properly and given the right nutrition they typically
will live between 10 and 13 years. If bred, you can expect them
to deliver between 3 and 8 pups at a time.
Many people don't realize that this breed can often be excellent
at hunting and many use them to this day as retrievers in the field.
The Poodle is a very intelligent breed and can be trained to do
just about anything from obedience, to frisbee, to flyball to hunting.

they can learn.
