Ninja, I like to believe I rescued you. I’m only human, after all. The thought of “rescuing” something makes me feel good. But I know you rescued yourself, weeks before I showed up. At some point in your young life, you learned to talk back when people spoke to you, to tolerate being held, to [...]
My dog’s eyes are always watching. While camping, Ace took to sitting a few yards away. From there, in a sunny patch, he could keep track of us. This became his job. Nothing went unnoticed. Thanks to Josh for the photos.
I do not know whether black dogs take longer to get adopted, but I do know they require decent photos to get noticed. I volunteered to get some pics of a few black dogs with 4 Luv of Dog Rescue on Friday. All four of these dogs are up for adoption. I’m no professional photographer, but [...]
Taking the weekend off. To relax and read and drink many drinks by the fire. The fiancé, the mutt and I are heading to the middle of nowhere for a much-needed camping trip. We love winter camping (if you can call this a winter!). In Minnesota or North Dakota, it’s almost a guarantee no one [...]
Little Barkley found love. It’s an odd thing, how there really does seem to be a person out there, the right person, for every dog. A small part of me always wonders if I should just keep the dog I’m fostering. Will anyone love this dog more than I do? Is there anyone who could [...]

Here's
what our members are saying ...
My
dog went from a barking aggressive mutt to a very obedient best friend.
Ty knows what he is doing and I recommend him to anyone I see being
controlled by their dog!

I
was unable to successfully manners-train my doberman puppy, but after 2
weeks with Ty, she had perfect on and off-leash obedience! He's a
miracle worker!!

Ty
is great in these videos. They are simple and did by a real down to
earth, easy to understand, regular guy. He is easy to understand and
knowledgeble in explaining his methods of training. Listen, watch, and
follow his instructions to have your dog obeying you in no time, and be
the envy of the dog park.

Ty
really knows dogs. He has studied all the training methods out there
and knows what techniques work best for different dogs

I am now able to take my dogs on
a
walk without tripping over them and/or the leashes...they are very well
behaved after just a little leash-work with Ty!!!!!!
