AUDIO: Member Question: How Do You Wean Your Dog Off The Electric Training Collar?
Ty Brown
Hi Ty, I took Milo swimming again. We did fine and had a great time, thanks for your advice with that. What I am finding is that Milo is a perfect angel when I have the electric training collar on him. But when it is off, he doesn't want to listen if there is a distraction or something he wants to do. This is especially true in front of my house. If he has an opportunity he will run over to neighbors' houses. I'm yelling "come here" and he could care less. Unfortunately, I have somewhat conditioned him, because I worry about him roaming the neighborhood, so all I have to do is be in my car and tell him we are going and he will come running. Any ideas??? . . . keep reading

AUDIO: Member Question- Getting Your Dog to Come When Called
Ty Brown
My 2 1/2 year old Husky was trained by a previous owner and is quite smart and learns quickly. I also had a Keeshond Shepherd cross which I took to school and ended up being a very obedient dog and did 1000% on off leash walking. Unfortunately he passed a couple years and now I'm training my new dog. I'm using my old methods I learned in the past as well as your instructional videos which help a great deal, thank you very much... . . . keep reading
