As much as I love dogs I’ve got to say that there are few things worse than a dog that jumps incessantly, nips or bites, or barks excessively. Dog manners problems are the source of endless frustration with dog owners.
The solutions to problems like this is to first have a solid foundation of very good obedience. Note, basic or rudimentary obedience based on treat training isn’t going to cut it. You’ve got to have solid obedience that is reliable.
Once you’ve got solid obedience then you can work on addressing your dog manners issues one by one and getting rid of them once and for all.
