Paris Hilton and Her Crazy Dog

Ok, this is kind of a weird question but it was in the news a while back and I wanted to find out the 'why'. Recently Paris Hilton was going to appear on a TV show. She brought her dog of course and the producer wanted to pet it. Paris said yes of course. When he went to touch Paris Hilton's dog inside the dog carrier little Mr. Hilton actually bit him. Why would her dog do this? He just wanted to pet him. I hear that Paris Hilton didn't even scold her dog, just let it happen as if she didn't care. Those Hiltons are crazy.

Well, I've got to agree. Paris Hilton and the Hiltons in general seem to be pretty crazy. The answer to your question is a simple one. The dog most likely is territorial and also lacks socialization. When a strange person went to pet him he felt caged in and reacted by biting. He perceived the producer as a threat and did what dogs do, that is fight, flight, or avoid. He chose fight. My understanding is that Paris Hilton herself has chosen this same avenue on a few different occasions. The next time I see Paris I will give her a few dog training pointers.
